I am a retired nurse. Registered in England and Italy.I worked for two years in Rome,and loved it.
Unfortunately I got TB, whilst there and had to go back to England for treatment,for two years.
I was due to return to Rome in September, 1968, but met Paul, the month before leaving!
Every year the Americans celebrate with us, as we got married 4th.July(1970)!!
We came to Canada for our first anniversary, for Paul to meet one of my sisters,who lives here.
He decided we should move here.I was seven months pregnant, and said "not yet!"
I had three kids over the next three years. Then we came here,in December 1975.
I worked as a Healthcare aide for a number of years, working at a Geriatric Home.
I have two married sons, and a daughter. She has two daughters.My eldest son & his wife, had a son 6January 2008.
I dearly love all my family!!

My passion is Italy,especially Tuscany.
My father's side of the family came from Lucca.
I was a Pisani.
I also love Rome where I have several friends that I have been able to keep intouch with.





I ALWAYS WATCH THIS ON GOOD FRIDAY.

I love walking, weather permitting. I go to Curves, regularly.I am interested in Genealogy and am working on my family tree, and also Paul's.
I keep up with my Italian, and also am trying Spanish.I volunteer, one day a week, with The Adult Day Services.I also volunteer with Palliative Care and The Hospital Auxillary. All in all I manage to keep myself pretty busy.

Following Brain Tumour Surgery I have trouble reading and spelling. My short term memory is very bad. Otherwise I am just fine,Thank God.
I am working on reading, and on the computer for stimulation of the brain. Lots of prayers, of course.
