I am a Domestic Violence Advocate, the Co-Owner and Web Developer of UAADV.org (http://www.uaadv.org ). I have a passion to help others that are going or have been through Domestic Violence. I want to help others understand that there is NO
shame in being abused, but SHAMEin the ABUSER!!!!

Im 33 and a Mother of 2, along with a Nephew from my Fiancee` who we had to get Emergency Custody of. I'm a Survivor of DV, and a DV Advocate that has started a Grass Roots Organization comprised of Victims, Survivors and Advocates working together to create a better tomorrow.

If you are an abuser and a user, get the hell off of my page and don't even DARE asking to be a Friend, not going to happen. Not a snowballs chance in hell.......But before you do, think about changing yourself! You CAN stop abusing! You owe it to the ones that love you, and if you have children, you owe it to them! If you can't change, walk away! Get help!

If you are a Victim, know that you aren't alone! Get support, talk to friends, don't let your abuser continue to abuse you! If you have kids, you owe it to them to let them grow up in a stable household with love, not with abuse! If you don't think they see it and know it is happening, you are WRONG and only fooling yourself. Children that grow up in an abusive household typically either end up abusing, or as a Victim themselves! Don't let this happen to your children! Get yourself and them help and GET OUT!! There are many out here willing to support you and help you through, find them and lean on them! Remember: There is NO shame in being abused, only SHAME in the ABUSER! Put the blame where it belongs!

If you are a Survivor, SPEAK OUT! Help those that are going through it, let them know that they too can make it! Get support for yourself as well! As Survivors, there are many things that we need to heal from, and having a network of support will help in this! Helping others will also help yourself!

If you are an Advocate, listen to what is going on around you! Listen to the Victim, to the Survivors! Be there for those that need you to be able to contact you! Connect with other Advocates, we need to work together in order to affect a true and meaningful change!

As a Survivor of the Orphanage System, Child Abuse and Domestic Violence as an adult, Self Injury, Marital Rape, Molestation and Rape, DV Shelters, and PTSD, I know the pain that many carry. I can understand the struggles that so many of us go through, the hurt, the shame, the guilt.....

I hear so many stories, know many DV Survivors and many Mothers that have lost their children to their abuser and an unjust system. So many, yet, society doesn't hear our children's cries, doesn't hear our cries. This has to change, and the only way to do it is by doing it together....NO-ONE should EVER have to do it alone.......

United Angels Against Domestic Violence....

We are a Survivor Owned Grass Root's Movement of Domestic Violence Survivors that Support each other in our day to day healing process. We have Survivors and Victims alike in our group. We welcome men and woman in any abusive relationship, with one goal in mind. Freedom from Abuse.

We believe that Survivors need support even years after being a victim, that the ongoing support to Survivors and their family is crucial for their success.

Raise awareness regarding domestic violence, stalking, and abuse.....

To bring SOCIETY as a whole together to fight Domestic Violence.....

Work with other agencies, police departments, resources in our areas, towards understanding and ending domestic violence.....

Educate Victims, Survivors, their family and loved ones, the public and schools in the identification, dangers, effects, prevention, outcomes and safety.....

Educate the public by publicizing and getting actively involved with the community regarding domestic violence, abuse, stalking, and their effects and misconceptions that are held, as well as prevention and safety.....

Provide a safe forum where victims, survivors, advocates and their loved ones can actively and anonymously participate with others, share their experiences, grow in their healing, and obtain valuable information as well as share support.....

Gather together as much information and have it available to the public in a easy to find manor.....

Empower victims and survivors through positive interaction, re-enforcement, resources and support.....

Share our Faith with others, and in so doing so, help heal those that have been victimized by DV, and have lost their Faith....

Show that NO-ONE is alone, and that NO-ONE deserves to be abused.....

Get out the message that "There is NO shame in being abused, only SHAME in the ABUSER!!!....

History....

Our group began as a yahoo support group in April 2005. The group was started based on an idea that the Victims and Survivors of Domestic Violence need a voice, and a safe place to come and share their experiences. Since then, we have grown in numbers.....

Future Goals....

In the future, our group hopes to be able to span our reaches so that we can reach out to communities across the world in a group effort to End Domestic Violence. We wish to Unite Victims, Survivors, Advocates and Organizations to reach this goal. To show that we are out here as an United Group, and that we will do what it takes to end the violence in our home, and the homes of the abused all over the world. Our goals are to educate, communicate, and actively change the ways Domestic Violence is perceived by the general public, court system, and the law makers. We are a United front that is ready and willing to make the changes that are so desperately needed. We believe that a complete reform needs to be made. The message that Domestic Violence is NO longer a family issue must be brought out and the general public must be educated in order to STOP THE VIOLENCE for good.....Domestic Violence is NOT a Family Matter, it is a CRIME!!

Mothers File International Complaint Against the United States

On May 11, just before Mother’s Day weekend, ten mothers, one victimized child, now an adult, and twelve leading national organizations filed a complaint against the United States with the Inter American Commission on Human Rights. Their petition claims that U.S. courts, by frequently awarding child custody to abusers and child molesters, has failed to protect the life, liberties, security and other human rights of abused mothers and their children.

Another Mother Gagged From Telling the TRUTH!

Claudine Dombrowski,
"Angelfury", is the latest Non-Custodial Mother being gagged from telling the TRUTH!!

She was ordered in court yesterday to take down her site "angelfury.org" in attempts to silence her. She was to either take down her site where she showed pictures of her bruises from being beaten up by her abuser,

a coffin coffee table in which her abuser would state that that is where her daughter would be put if she didn't do what he told her to do. A constant reminder of his control.

A Domestic Violence VICTIM, and yet, she had her daughter taken away from her and custody given to their abuser!!!!

The site also contained court documents that she wanted to share with the world to bring out the truth of what is not only happening to her, but many many more women then the system would want anyone to know. These women DESERVE a VOICE!!! Their CRIES for HELP should NOT be ignored!! Unfortunately, they are being ignored, and too many children are taken away from loving Mothers without any other reason then what the Abuser has portrayed.

I talked to Claudine just a little while ago, and through her tears, she told me that they are trying to take away ALL of her Parental Rights. She has been fighting for her daughter for 10 years now, and has been seeing her daughter in Safe Visit during that time, which was only supposed to be temporary. She has NOT been deamed a danger to her child! In fact, all Evaluations prove otherwise! So, why can't she be with her daughter???

She may have had to close AngelFury.org down, but UAADV is going to pick up her fight. We are NEVER going to let the system silence Mothers from telling the TRUTH!!! Please visit Claudine at

United Angels Against Domestic Violence

UAADV is a Member Owned Grass Roots Movement that is comprised of Domestic Violence Victims, Survivors, and Advocates for the purpose of supporting Victims and Survivors alike, striving to provide the necessary education and resources that are so desperately needed. Raising Awareness of DV in Victims, Survivors, the Public, and Legislation. We are working towards find a way to End Domestic Violence and to get the services needed for those that have been through it, and to get our communities involved with the fight Against Domestic Violence through our Community Initiative Plan.

We believe that Domestic Violence is not just a family issue, but an issue that affects society as a whole, and it needs to be addressed properly through the court system, and legislation. We are a group dedicated to actively seek solutions to make a difference in the way Domestic Violence is addressed and viewed World Wide.
